MARKET
: Clean black grainier sorts sold
irregularly around last. The other
varieties were lower by upto Re.1/- to Rs.2/- and sometimes more.
BUYING PATTERN : M/s.
AVT covered useful quantities of the good liquoring teas with support from
K.S.C.S.C. and Tata Tea on the better mediums and medium sorts. The loose tea section and the local blenders
operated selectively on liquoring sorts.
M/s. Hindustan Unilever Limited very selective. Some export enquiry was in evidence on the
clean black grainier sorts at lower levels.
