LEAF MARKET

There was good demand at levels, which were irregularly lower following quality for all varieties on offer.

BUYING PATTERN

The regional packagers operated on the bright liquoring sorts along with support from Western India. North India was active on the medium and plainer sorts with some support from the local loose tea traders. Duncans operated selectively. There was very selective enquiry from Tata Tea on the plainer sorts.

DUST MARKET

Dusts met with good demand at easier levels for all varieties on offer.

BUYING PATTERN

There was good support from Maharashtra and the local traders with some enquiry from Central India. Hindustan Unilever was quiet.
