LEAF MARKET

There was good demand at levels, which were irregularly lower following quality for all varieties on offer.

 

BUYING PATTERN

The regional packagers were selective on the better liquoring sorts. Medium and plainer varieties saw good support from the local traders, Godfrey Phillips along with some support from North India and Duncans. Hindustan Unilever was quiet.

 

 

DUST MARKET

Dusts met with good demand at irregularly easier levels for all varieties on offer.

 

BUYING PATTERN

Central India operated with some support from the local traders. Western India was selective. Duncans and Hindustan Unilever were quiet.
