Our Coffee Business

Carritt Moran & Co. Pvt. Ltd has always looked at the future with the outlook of an entrepreneur. We have always believed in exploring business opportunities to the fullest. So, when the Government of India decided to liberalize the trade of Coffee in India in 1993, we were already 'there'.

Since we had already been dealing in the specialized beverage of tea, coffee came easy to us. Now, after 7 years of learning and experience in the coffee trade, we have established ourselves as one of the premier ICTA auctioneers in the Indian coffee industry.

Our coffee business has been growing steadily over the years and at present we are trading volumes up to the levels of 5.2 million kilograms per annum.

Carritt Moran & Co. Pvt. Ltd perceives the coffee trade as a growing business and we are committed to serving the coffee trade with all integrity and application that has been our hallmark over the years of our business in the tea industry.

Coffee unlike tea, is extremely miniscule as a trade in India and it is the international market forces determine the price and volume movements. This makes it important that the Carritt Moran clients in India have security against unexpected movements in the prices levels.

We are also broking members of the Coffee Futures Exchange of the ICTA thus providing hedging facilities to our clients.
